In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Pittsburgh; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Pennsylvania are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 241-7110. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 206 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Pittsburgh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Stopped in with a work crew later in the evening. Had a great time. Portions were a good size. Everything seemed good to me. Probably one of the only restaurants ive been in that doesn't have some sort of background music or sound.

Food is always good! Owner is helpful with small changes. When calling in your order he is attentive snd remembers the little details about you. So much food. Not skimpy on the meat & proteins. Best in the area!!!!!

I forgot how good their food is! It's been yrs but they are still the best Chinese I've had! It's not a fancy place, that's why I gave the atmosphere a 3.

First time coming here so here is my honest thoughts. The service was good its a small buisness run by some really good people. I love supporting small buisnesses for sure but I have to be honest about the food and atmosphere. The atmosphere was quiet with a bunch of people right next to you and you can hear there converstaions etc. Since the owners dont have any background music or ambience so its bit awkward. The food was a disappointment. I ordered the Beef Lo Mein and Chicken Teriyaki. The Beef Lo Mein was really good but the Chicken Teriyaki was terrible and way expensive for what it was. As you see by the pictures the Chicken Teriyaki barely had any meat on it and tasted terrible and nothing like Chicken Teriyaki at all. There was 0 sauce or anything. It was a little bit meat on a chicken for 12 dollars which is insane. I go to a Asian resturant to get authentic food and I was massively disappointed. There really good people but you cant be charging me 12 dollars for that. I personally wont be going back there for some time. Im going to give it some time and hope for some improvment since its my closest Asian resturant.
